Nintendo promised that demos would be a part of the 3DS’s last big firmware update. While they have shown up in Japan, they have been glaringly absent in North America. That’s all about to change though as Nintendo of America has announced that 3DS demos will begin showing up on the eShop in North America.
The first game to get the demo treatment in North America will be Resident Evil: Revelations. The demos will continue to roll out next week with Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games. In the near future, we can also expect to see demos of Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D and Rayman Origins.
